The Fireside Bench, based on a 1902 Stickley Bros. design, is the type of high-backed settle that was often positioned in pairs near a fireplace, creating a cozy nook that held the fire's warmth. Our 125th Anniversary version is a versatile, eye-catching storage bench that lends itself to entryways, mudrooms, living rooms, and more. Crafted of quartersawn white oak, its noteworthy features include a slightly pitched triptych-style back, a hinged seat concealing a storage space, and a stunning inlay design with subtle shading and detail created by carefully burning the veneer.

Inlay Design
The Fireside Bench’s remarkable inlay design, an elongated floral motif with ribbon accents, is crafted into the oak panels using decorative veneers of maple, anigre, walnut, and walnut burl. To add yet another layer of artistry, careful sand-burning is used to bring dimension and fine detail to its petals and leaves.Materials: Quartersawn white oak solids and veneers
